Deluxe Gown CollectionIn this collection I wanted to make a new gown for each Disney's heroine, trying to mantain the same period, culture and personality. On some princess I've tried also a new hairdo (only on the most famous ones, because I know that people would have however easily recognize them), because I wanted to refresh their looks. Another important things: I have intentionally changed the official colour matches (Ex. Cinderella -> Blue; Aurora -> Pink; Belle->Yellow etc...), because I was very tired to see each princess wearing always the same colour. So I used also the colour that Disney has snobbed, like green, orange and red. My main goal was to keep every princess' personality the same, and I hope to have succeeded there. Enjoy! CommentsI love this whole collection! (I stumbled across Meg's dress on a Google search and just had to see the rest.) Not only is each piece drawn beautifully, but I love that the designs aren't sticking so close to the original Disney designs. It's amazing how you managed to give each princess a completely different color and shape, and yet still keep their personality and their overall look. I love all the blue you added to Pocahontas's gown, the green on Aurora (why was the argument in the movie only blue vs pink, anyway?), the amazing red and gold on Cinderella, Meg's completely different Grecian shape... I could go on and on, and eventually I'm going to have to comment on each one individually. I just love this so much.
Thank you for your appreciation, it means a lot to me! I will add Merida very soon, so stay tuned!
these are gorgeous and stunning pictures of the Disney princesses every little girl knows. they are very well done, and i admire all the great details you put into creating them!!
excellent excellent work!! I really can't tell which one I like the most...
Actually, I can't tell you which FIVE I like the most! You've done such a wonderful job! Tell me, will you ever branch out past Disney? I imagine that Anastasia or Odette, being from such exotic (made up?) places and times would be fun to do some time. Was Sinbad a Disney movie? I can't remember...here's hoping you do a *pirate* deluxe! In any case, this collection is going strait to my favorites... Thanks for all the compliments, I'm glad to see that people appreciate my work, because I put a lot of thougt in each outfit. It's not simply a dress, but a piece of character.
No, Simbad is not a Disney movie, but Dreamworks, I think. However, I've planned also to do not-disney heroines, like Odette, Anastasia, Thumbelina etc.. |
