Commission: Jolina+Atikas

This commission was very hard for me to do, because I've never drawn a dragon before.This way I have had to look for material on the dragons and on the armors for animals. In this case, for the dragon Atikas I was inspired by a medieval horses' armor,To color the armor has been some difficult because it have already been complicated to draw it, but at the end I believe to have succeeded in doing a good job.Also the application to make the wings of the dragon using the feathers and not the classical bat-type has contributed to the difficulty of realization, but I was definite to win this challenge with myself.I have added some gems and blue decorations to the armor to recall the color of the gem that Atikas wears at the neck, while for the rest (suit, diadem and sword) I have simply tried to realize the idea of .To the beginning, as background, I put a landscape with old medieval boundaries, trees and rocks, but then I have seen that Jolina's outfit and the dragon (both white) didn't show up enought, and therefore I have thought about replacing it with a plain black background, more sophisticated and incisive.Then, I have added the mystical circle to give an atmosphere of mystery and magic to the sketch.
